On June 2, KUENZEL awt GmbH / PureFlow GmbH from Münchberg received the award in the Innovation category as prize winner of the Bavarian Family Entrepreneur of the year 2017. This was handed over by the regional presidents of Bavaria, Martin Schoeller (Association of Family Operators) and Stefan Friedrich (Association of Young Entrepreneurs) to the Gala at the Palais Lembach in Munich. Marc-Alexander Künzel (Picture, 2nd from the left, source: DIE FAMILIENUNTERNEHMER e.V.), one of the two managing directors, accepted the prize with great joy from the jury.

The prize is awarded to family enterprises, which form the backbone of the social market economy. These companies stand for quality and trust. Alexander Graf-Lambsdorff, Vice-President of the European Parliament, as well as the president of the family entrepreneurs Reinhold von Eben-Worlée and Emilia Müller, Bavarian Minister of State for Labour and Social Affairs, Family and Integration, were among the many distinguished guests from politics and business. Horst Seehofer, Minister-President of Freestate Bavaria, was also invited to the event. As a cabaret artist, Django Asül provided entertainment.
